In 2001 Windy City Metal, based on demand, invested over 1 million dollars into fabrication equipment. This allowed us to increase productivity as well as cost effectiveness and on-time delivery.

Due to the company’s constant growth and demand of customers, in 2006 Windy City has invested more in its infrastructure from state of the art equipment and technology to its new 40,000.00 square foot manufacturing facility and showroom. With this, we continue to increase our productivity, timely deliveries and pass the savings onto our customers. Today Windy City Metal is not only broadening its client base in the roofing and construction industry, we have introduced ourselves in various markets and industries such as historical and religious restoration and reproduction, food processing and commercial kitchen industry, interior design etc.

We have a wide variety of sheet metal in stock, including copper, lead coated copper, galvanized steel, prefinished steel, galvalume, aluminum and zinc. Custom orders can be fabricated within 2-4 days if the required material is in stock. It is also possible to have roofing products fabricated of various materials that we do not keep in stock. We can have these materials delivered from our vendors within a few days.
